Thank you to all those volunteers who have signed up for Give Back Cincinnati’s Paint the Town: Colerain Township this coming Saturday, June 9. We will be painting the homes of 25 families throughout the community of Colerain. Your help is needed and greatly appreciated! It will take each and every one of you to complete the amazing feat of painting 25 houses in a single day.

Timeline for Paint the Town
- 7:45 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Team sign-in and breakfast
- 8:30 a.m. Announcements
- 8:45 a.m. Volunteers dismissed to buses
- 3-4 p.m. (estimated) Painting concludes on your house. Once painting is finished and everything is cleaned up, a bus will bring you back to the after party.

Paint the Town Parking Volunteers will be in neon vests and will help direct traffic to recommended parking areas. Please see a detailed parking diagram here: Parking map
Registration will take place in the Colerain Middle School Gymnasium. CARPOOL if at all possible and be sure to arrive on time. If you pre-registered for a corporate team, go DIRECTLY to your corporate team table to sign in (tables will be roughly in alphabetical order).
If you registered as a general Give Back Cincinnati volunteer, sign in at the main registration table where you will be assigned a house or directed where to go. ALL volunteers must fill out a waiver, either online or a paper copy at the event.
Once you sign in and get a t-shirt, pick up a Paint the Town water bottle to take to the house with you. You’ll be provided water at the house to fill up and stay hydrated! Breakfast is being provided and will include breakfast sandwiches from Vonderhaars, donuts, bananas, milk, and coffee.
Buses will transport volunteers to the houses for the day. When you sign in with your team, your bus number will be on the registration sheet. Do NOT drive yourself to the house because there is limited space available.
What to Expect/Bring
Wear clothes that you are not afraid to get dirty. T-shirts will be provided for all volunteers. Your shoes should be sturdy with closed toes (no flip-flops) and you may want to bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen or bug spray. Please leave your valuables at home. If you prefer to use your own supplies (i.e. paint brush, mask, goggles, gloves) we encourage you to bring your own.
Lunch will be delivered to the house you are painting between noon and 1 p.m. Chick-fil-A sandwiches, Grippo’s chips and cookies will be provided for lunch. Vegetarian option is available upon request (please let your team lead know). If you have special dietary needs, we recommend bringing a bagged lunch.
After a hard day of work please join us for Give Back Cincinnati’s Paint the Town AFTER PARTY! This will take place at Colerain Park next to Colerain Middle School. There will be music, food, and of course beer. No matter your age, REMEMBER to bring your ID, as you will need a wristband in order to drink. You will receive two beer tickets. Additional beers can be purchased for $2.
Regardless of the forecast, rain or shine, please plan on showing up in the morning for registration. Any changes to the schedule due to weather will be determined at registration.
