2022 Paint the Town Registration

More than 1,250 paint brushes, 300 rollers, 500 ladders and 25 Port-o-Poties – yep, Port-o-Potties – are teed up for use just a few  weeks from now… and that can only mean one thing. That’s right: Paint the Town is right around the corner!

One of Give Back Cincinnati’s largest events, Paint the Town will take place on Saturday, June 11. Approximately 750 volunteers will paint the exterior of 26 owner-occupied homes in Avondale & Evanston for those who are physically and/or financially unable to do the work themselves. Volunteers will be bused to their individual houses. Volunteers are not permitted to transport themselves to houses. 

    

I am part of a corporate team. Am I in the right spot? 

Yep! All volunteers should use the registration button above to sign up. You will be able to select your corporate team from a drop-down menu on the registration page. If you are volunteering with a friend who is part of a corporate team, please select that team from the drop-down menu to ensure you can volunteer together! 

What if I don’t have a “team” to paint on?

No problem! Please select “General Volunteer” from the team drop-down menu on the registration page. We will find a house for you.

What should I wear?

    1. You will be given a volunteer t-shirt upon check-in, but otherwise, you should wear clothes you don’t mind getting paint on.

 

    1. Close-toed shoes — no sandals or flip-flops!

 

  1. Hat and sunglasses!

What about breakfast and lunch?

A grab-and-go breakfast (with coffee!!) will be available during check-in/registration. Lunch will be delivered to your house. Houses will also will have snacks and water. We will also have pizza available at the after-party. Vegetarian options are available, but if you have any other dietary needs or restrictions, please plan to bring your own food.

What should I bring with me?

    1. Reusable water bottle

 

    1. Sunscreen

 

    1. Hat

 

  1. Driver’s license (You will need this for a beer at the After Party!)

Where should I park?

Volunteers will park at Mercy McAuley High School, assemble in their teams and then board buses to their houses. We will email you the registration location’s address and specific parking instructions the week of the event.

Can I volunteer for only a partial day?

Yes and no. Painting a house requires a full day commitment. If you are unable to paint for a full day, we have non-painting volunteer roles with various time commitments throughout the day

Can my relative/friend that is under 18 volunteer with me?

No, all painting volunteers must be at least 18 years old. There are some non-painting volunteer roles suitable for a volunteer under 18 if they have a parent or legal guardian with them.
